These are some of the photos that will be in the Amy's Bakery Arts Cafe show in April. Most of these photos were taken in 2002. The show in April consists of photos from "Strings"(2002), "Young Families"(1997-98) and other photos of children.
"Young Families" project which were taken in 1997-98 as part of my thesis at Marlboro College. The photos were taken in Windham County Vermont and I was focused on the everyday details of family life.
With the "Strings Project" I was looking at the strings that tie mother and child, that link family members in general. These ties bind & nourish or can choke.
